In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Barrington Fillies/Broncos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Geneva Vikings.

The Fillies/Broncos (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln-Way West edged Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL).
