The Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Omaha Northwest Huskies (Omaha, NE), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Braves (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fremont (Fremont, NE). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Fremont notched a victory over Columbus (Columbus, NE), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Huskies battle the Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 30. Omaha Northwest will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
