With the win, Beaver improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Beavers travel to San Juan (Blanding, UT) to meet the Broncos in a 2A Region 18 contest on Friday, September 5. The Broncos enter the contest with a record of 7-1.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Milford Tigers (Milford, UT) in a 1A Region 20 challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Bryce Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Beaver (Beaver, UT).
