California High School Volleyball - Boyd over Mt. Carmel

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) and the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), observed Boyd's volleyball team top Mt. Carmel by a count of 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Sunrise Mountain notched a victory over All Saints (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sundevils encounter the Rockwall-Heath Hawks (Rockwall, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 30. Mt. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Hawks go into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN).
