Texas High School Volleyball - Bridge City tips Schulenburg

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) and the host Schulenburg Shorthorns (Schulenburg, TX), observed Bridge City's volleyball squad nudge Schulenburg by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Bridge City improves its record to 21-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Nederland (Nederland, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 9-8. Nederland lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX)

The Shorthorns now own a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Top-Carmine for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Schulenburg will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 6-12.
