California High School Volleyball - California Lutheran over Calvary Chapel

The California Lutheran C-Hawks (Wildomar, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Calvary Chapel Grizzlies (Downey, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The C-Hawks now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Santa Rosa Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. California Lutheran will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 3-1 league win over San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA). The Rangers record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Calvary Chapel drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Rosemead (Rosemead, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Rosemead lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA)
