California High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Christian tips Calvary Chapel

August 30, 2025: Wildomar, CA 92595

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders (Wildomar, CA) and the visiting Calvary Chapel Grizzlies (Downey, CA), observed Cornerstone Christian's volleyball team hold off Calvary Chapel by a count of 2-1.

The Crusaders (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Valley Center was edged by Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosemead for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Calvary Chapel will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
