Florida High School Volleyball - Neumann can't hold off Cardinal Newman

August 30, 2025: West Palm Beach, FL 33409

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Cardinal Newman Crusaders (West Palm Beach, FL) volleyball team held off the visiting Neumann Celtics (Naples, FL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Crusaders now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jupiter for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 3. Cardinal Newman will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

Next, the Celtics battle the Southwest Florida Christian King's (Fort Myers, FL) in a 2A District 9 contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Neumann will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The King's enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bonita Springs (Bonita Springs, FL).
