The Fairfield Trojans topped the host Carlisle Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Trojans face the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a Southeast game, on Tuesday, September 2. Fairfield will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Bloodhounds go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Quincy (Quincy, IL).

The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bombers go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Ballard went down by Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
