Nevada High School Volleyball - Placer over Churchill County

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Placer Hillmen volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Churchill County Greenwave.

The Hillmen (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Escalon beat Merced (Merced, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Tahoe for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Churchill County will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Elko (Elko, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
