Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Chieftains (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Grossmont beat Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils play the Liberty Charter Lions (Alpine, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Sweetwater will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA).
