Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Clay Center advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers host Holton (Holton, KS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Lake for a Big East challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Royal Valley will play a Eagles team coming off a 0-0 non-league Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 0-0.
