In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Clear Creek-Amana Clippers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.

The Clippers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Decorah-North Winneshiek was beaten by North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Washington Demons (Washington, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Demons go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA).
