Alabama High School Volleyball - Daphne can't hold off King's Academy

In Saturday's non-league match, the King's Academy Lions (West Palm Beach, FL) volleyball team held off the host Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Lions now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Westminster Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. King's Academy will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Plant (Tampa, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Daphne falls to 9-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL) to battle the Dolphins in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3.
