Texas High School Volleyball - DeSoto over Mansfield Summit

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) and the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX), observed DeSoto's volleyball team top Mansfield Summit by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, TX). The Colts enter the non-league contest with a 7-18 record. In their last contest, Arlington was knocked off by Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Jaguars battle the Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Mansfield Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX).
