Alaska High School Volleyball - McAllen over Dimond

The McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now hold a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they host Rowe for a 5A Region IV District 31 match on Tuesday, September 2. McAllen will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.

The Lynx (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds enter the 4A Cook Inlet match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Bettye Davis East Anchorage was outscored by West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 3-2, in a league match.
