Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts enter the District 34 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Lloyd Memorial was beaten by Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Engineers meet the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a District 56 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Estill County will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record.
