Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN) and the visiting Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), observed Knightstown's volleyball team top Elwood by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Bulldogs enter the Tri-Eastern contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Centerville was knocked off by New Castle (New Castle, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Elwood will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Wildkats go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Eastern (Greentown, IN).
