California High School Volleyball - Escalon Nevada Union

The Nevada Union Miners were victorious over the host Escalon Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Miners now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Placer for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Nevada Union will play a Hillmen team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Escalon drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to El Capitan (Merced, CA) to play the Gauchos in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Gauchos come into the outing with a record of 1-1. El Capitan won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)
