In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host St. Michael Catholic Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Foley Lions.

The Cardinals (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Long Beach was beaten by Hancock (Kiln, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Baldwin County Tigers (Bay Minette, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Prattville (Prattville, AL).
