Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball team tip the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Roadrunners come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Career Tech was nudged by Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV), 3-1, in a league test.

The Skyhawks now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Las Vegas for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Silverado will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Basic (Henderson, NV). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
