The Patriot Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen to 0 in the Pioneers non-league win on Saturday.

Next up, the Pioneers confront the Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Patriot will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA).

The Statesmen (1-6) will now prepare for their game against South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Seahawks go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, South Lakes gained a win over Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
