Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Chicago Christian was nudged by Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Glenbard East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL).
