California High School Volleyball - Golden Valley tips McFarland

The Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA) volleyball held off the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Wonderful College Prep Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. Golden Valley will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wasco (Wasco, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-3.

The Cougars (1-11) will now prepare for their match against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Arvin held off California City (California City, CA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
