In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Southeast Warren Warhawks volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Grand View Christian Thunder.

With the win, Southeast Warren improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Warhawks host Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA) to face the Tigerhawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigerhawks go into the test with a record of 4-1. Colfax-Mingo won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against GMG (Garwin, IA)

The Thunder now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Polk for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Grand View Christian will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-6.
