Texas High School Volleyball - Groveton over Silsbee

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Groveton Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Silsbee Tigers.

The Indians (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Normangee (Normangee, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-16 record. In their last challenge, Normangee was beaten by Bremond (Bremond, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Silsbee will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 4-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Woodville (Woodville, TX).
