In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors.
The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Aurora Christian achieved victory over Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aurora Central Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Hammond Bishop Noll will face a Chargers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-0.
