Kentucky High School Volleyball - South Warren over Hancock County

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) and the host Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY), observed South Warren's volleyball team top Hancock County by a tally of 2-0.

The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Adair County achieved victory over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Hornets now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edmonson County for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Hancock County will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
