Texas High School Volleyball - Sharyland edged by Harlingen

The Sharyland Rattlers volleyball squad (Mission, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX)

With the win, Harlingen improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Cardinals travel to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to encounter the Bloodhounds in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Bloodhounds enter the contest with a record of 2-2. St. Joseph Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Jones (Beeville, TX)

Next, the Rattlers meet the Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 contest, on Saturday, September 6. Sharyland will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to McAllen (McAllen, TX).
