Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Henryville Hornets (Henryville, IN) and the host Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN), observed Henryville's volleyball team hold off Perry Central by a tally of 2-1.
The Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Southridge got by Boonville (Boonville, IN), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Commodores meet the Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 30. Perry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Marksmen enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN).
