Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Perryton improves its record to 7-11 on the season. The Rangers host Socorro (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 12-8. Socorro won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (El Paso, TX)

The Scorpions now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Horizon will meet a Lobos team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 1-5.
