New York High School Volleyball - Portville can't get by Irondequoit

August 30, 2025: Portville, NY 14770

Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Portville Panthers (Portville, NY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutherland (Pittsford, NY). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Panthers meet the Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 1. Portville will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Monarchs go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Portville (Portville, NY).
