South Carolina High School Volleyball - James Island over St. Joseph's Catholic

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the host St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), saw James Island's volleyball squad notch a victory over St. Joseph's Catholic by a score of 2-0.

With the win, James Island improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC) to encounter the Seahawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Seahawks go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Hilton Head Island won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC)

The Knights now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Bluff for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. St. Joseph's Catholic will battle a Gators team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Gators record now stands at 6-2.
