Ohio High School Volleyball - Lancaster over Watkins Memorial

Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) and the visiting Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH), saw Lancaster's volleyball squad notch a victory over Watkins Memorial by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Lancaster improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Golden Gales travel to Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH) to encounter the Tigers in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Pickerington Central won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH)

The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Licking Heights for a Licking County challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Watkins Memorial will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 1-3.
