Illinois High School Volleyball - Latin over St. Edward

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Latin Romans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Edward Green Wave.
The Romans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Sentinels come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Westmont gained a win over Plano (Plano, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Green Wave now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkview Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. St. Edward will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
