Leander Lions (Leander, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Marauders come into the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Marcus gained a win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vista Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Salado will face a Rangers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 11-13.
