Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) and the host Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX), observed Robinson's volleyball team hold off Little River Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Rockets (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Lake Belton got by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bumblebees now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harker Heights for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Little River Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, TX). The Knights record now stands at 7-11.
