The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Camden Fairview (Camden, AR). The Cardinals enter the 4A 6 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Camden Fairview was knocked off by Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. New Boston will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hooks (Hooks, TX).
