In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Union Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mason City Mohawks.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Jesup beat Cascade (Cascade, IA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Mason City drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mohawks host Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to play the Roughriders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Roughriders go into the game with a record of 1-2. Roosevelt won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Pella Christian (Pella, IA)
