In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Plainfield North Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Hononegah was beaten by Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Roadrunners meet the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Nazareth Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Bengals go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
