In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pella Dutch volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Winterset Huskies.

The Dutch (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Norwalk got by Linn-Mar (Marion, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Winterset will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Underwood (Underwood, IA).
