The Permian Panthers volleyball team (Odessa, TX), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX)

The Antlers (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Boerne (Boerne, TX). The Greyhounds enter the 5A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Boerne beat Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Permian will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 18-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
