Texas High School Volleyball - Pioneer over Weslaco

The Pioneer Diamondbacks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Weslaco Panthers to 0 in the Diamondbacks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Diamondbacks now possess a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North for a 5A Region IV District 31 game on Tuesday, September 2. Pioneer will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alexander (Laredo, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.

The Panthers (13-12) will now prepare for their game against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats enter the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Vela gained a win over Palmview (La Joya, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
