The Placer Hillmen volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Truckee Wolverines to 1 in the Hillmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hillmen now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nevada Union for a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. Placer will play a Miners team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Miners record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Truckee drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Dayton (Dayton, NV) to play the Dust Devils in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Dust Devils come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Dayton won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Debbie Smith CTE Academy (Reno, NV)
