The St. Edmond Gaels edged the visiting Pocahontas Indians volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Gaels confront the Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 2. St. Edmond will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Tornadoes go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA).
The Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels come into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Sioux Central was nudged by West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
