South Carolina High School Volleyball - St. Joseph's Catholic can't hold off Porter-Gaud

In Saturday's non-league match, the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting St. Joseph's Catholic Knights (Greenville, SC), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Cyclones battle the Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. Porter-Gaud will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Seahawks enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC).

The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their match against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans enter the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, James Island held off Cane Bay (Summerville, SC), 3-0, in a non-league match.
