Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Ripon over Rio

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ripon Tigers (Ripon, WI) and the host Rio Vikings (Rio, WI), observed Ripon's volleyball team top Rio by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Oshkosh North was knocked off by Ripon (Ripon, WI), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings battle the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers (Cambria, WI) in a Trailways -West battle, on Thursday, September 4. Rio will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Abundant Life (Madison, WI).
