The River Valley Blackhawks topped the visiting Superior Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin game, on Thursday, September 4. River Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Hillmen come into the outing with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, WI).

With the loss, Superior drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Northwestern (Maple, WI) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4.
