Illinois High School Volleyball - Romeoville can't hold off West Aurora

August 30, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506

In Saturday's non-league match, the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Blackhawks clash with the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 2. West Aurora will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL).

With the loss, Romeoville drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Kaneland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)
