West Virginia High School Volleyball - South Charleston can't get by St. Albans

August 30, 2025: St. Albans, WV 25177

St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, St. Albans advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Red Dragons host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-1. Ripley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV)

The Black Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hurricane for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. South Charleston will face a Redskins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 3-1.
